HerbVal Supra - High Potency Relaxation Blend - is a botanical alternative medicine formulation that is very similar to our standardized "HerbVal" product, but it is further enhanced by high concentration extracts of Nature’s most renowned herbal sedatives - Valerian Root and Kava Kava. Both of these herbs are well-recognized effective relaxants, able to induce strong calmative feelings while improving mental function and sharpening the senses. Their tranquilizing effects are the result of selective neurotropic action on higher brain centers, which suppress and regulate the autonomic nervous system. Only in an encapsulated product such as HerbVal Supra could they all be so easily combined. This formulation can be expected to provide mild sedation and tranquilization at the recommended dosage. Although each of the herbs in this blend are significant relaxants and sedatives when used individually, these herbs work best in combination. In comparison to conventional medicines often prescribed for relaxation purposes, this formulation closely approximates the effect of taking twenty milligrams of Valium™, a commonly prescribed pharmaceutical used for similar purposes. Unlike its pharmaceutical equivalents, however, HerbVal Supra contains no benzodiazepines and is not habit forming.

Purpose of Formulation:

Herbal Ingredients:

Recommended Dosage:
Take one (1) or two (2) capsules per day. Herbal action should take place in 20-30 minutes. For best results, at least one (1) capsule should be taken early in the morning on an empty stomach with a large glass of cold water.
Contraindications:
Do not use HerbVal Supra if you suffer from Parkinson’s disease. Do not mix with alcohol. Consult your physician before using this product if you are pregnant, nursing, have high blood pressure, heart or thyroid disease, diabetes or are being treated for a serious medical condition. Do not drive when taking this supplement as drowsiness will result. Consult your physician before taking Kava Kava if you are currently taking anticoagulants, oral contraceptives, anti-depressants, anti-seizure medications, drugs to treat HIV or prevent transplant rejection, or any other prescription drugs. Excess use can disturb vision, dilate pupils and affect walking and driving. One study found that it was safe to drive after taking Kava at the dosage listed above. However, the German Commission E monograph states that Kava, when taken at the recommended levels, may adversely affect a person’s ability to safely drive or operate heavy machinery.
